“We have stayed at Moko Hiwi Escape several times and are always impressed with the comfort and quality of the beds and amenities. It is perfectly located for visiting the Ruakaka, Whangarei and Waipu areas and only just over an hour from Auckland.
The rooms are equipped with tea/coffee facilities, super big and comfy beds, chairs for relaxing and taking in the gorgeous view out to the Whangarei Heads. The ensuite bathroom has a lovely roomy shower and all of the bathroom essentials you may need, as well plenty of extras in case of forgetfulness when packing!
We have enjoyed relaxing evenings with friends in the spacious courtyard and utilised the extensive outdoor kitchen/bbq and well equipped indoor kitchen. The open plan design of the living area also provides yet more stunning views over the spacious lawns and out to sea.
Tracey is always a perfect host and is happy to accommodate any request. We will definitely be back - it's our go to place when visiting friends in the winterless north. ”
